I often hear messages from my Pops through nature. Before we moved, I would walk in the Samish Crest Open Space daily and became friends with a family of barred owls, sharing quite conversations with them only feet away in a tree. Often, these visits were followed by big changes for our family. Each time I felt a deep challenge, I would think back to the quite and peaceful gaze of the owl and the love that surrounds us.
